Emma and Dan – Rivervale Barn

We met with many florist as you do when you start to plan a wedding but as soon as we stepped foot into Tarnia’s beautiful house/studio and she greeted us we instantly felt that friendly kind connection and that we had met someone that we wanted to be part of our special day.

Tarnia listened to what we had to say and instead of trying to change our minds and point us towards flowers that were more experience or larger quantities, she took on board from day one what kind of feel we were after and what our budget was! We wanted a romantic vintage elegant feel and for our budget I wasn’t sure this could be done but I was very wrong!

Tarnia was always on hand to help and answer any questions we had and we defiantly didn’t feel like just any other client to her! She made us feel special and loved which is how every bride and groom should feel through this wonderful time. And her cakes and cups of tea are to die for

I remember our last meeting before the wedding and we went through everything with a fine tooth comb and everything was perfect .. And then Tarnia suggested that instead of having large decoration down the sides of the aisle that we could for the same price have two large white pillars with a beautiful floral piece on each which we could have behind the register table and move to behind our top table! I trusted Tarnia and it paid off and our aisle also looked beautiful with simple rose petals.

We had planned our day for two years and I was so worried about how it would turn out – I had so much trust in all our suppliers but any nice will know what I mean! However as soon as I walked into the stunning Rivervale barn I burst into tears .. Tears of happiness! Everything was just so much better than I could ever have imagined and it felt amazing knowing that between ourselves and Tarnia and all our other suppliers we had created something so beautiful! That was the first (and not the last) time I cried happy tears that day!!

Tarnia even stayed to personally hand me my bouquet and wish us the best of luck which I felt was so lovely of her! Her flowers and her over all nature are equally beautiful!

I would and have highly recommended Tarnia to anyone! I haven’t stopped having compliments from our guests and people I don’t even know that have seen our photos about how beautiful our day was and looked and a big part of that was our flowers!

If you are looking for beautiful flowers with a realistic price tag combined with a lovely lady then you have found what your looking for!

Tarnia was the first florist (and we had met a few) who understood exactly what we wanted from day one (which probably wasn’t easy given our limited knowledge of flowers). We valued her honesty and exceptional customer service.

Again given our lack of floristry knowledge we left it all to Tarnia to use her expertise and creativity and it well and truly paid off. Our flowers were beautiful and a highlight of the day. So much so I was heartbroken to leave them to go on honeymoon!

Just a quick note to thank you again for our beautiful flowers that you provided for Jenny and Gary’s wedding on Thursday. I sit here writing this with my mother’s bouquet in front of me and it is still as gorgeous as when they gave it to me at the reception.

I’ve been compelled to write this review just before going on honeymoon as the flowers Tarnia provided were nothing sort of spectacular, the tables when we arrived in the dark with the hundreds of candles were breathtaking, the diamanté vases, every area scattered with rose petals, the room literally took our breath away. Tarnia was amazing from our first meeting up until my wedding day. She really understands the needs of a bride and this is what makes her stand out from the rest of her competitors.

I had been let down by another florist and Tarnia agreed to take on my wedding at short notice. I also had a small budget for flowers and Tarnia did not treat me any differently, unlike some of the florists I met in London!

Tarnia listened to my vague ideas and managed to turn them into fabulous creations! She recommended using Pinterest to share ideas which made it so much easier to get my ideas across and she translated them with ease.

I changed my mind quite a lot about the amount of flowers I wanted and Tarnia let me confirm everything as late as a week before my wedding! This made it a lot less stressful and we really appreciated her flexibility and understanding.

The flowers she created were absolutely stunning. All the bouquets, button holes and table centres were exactly what I wanted. Everyone complimented how beautiful the flowers were and even my husband who doesn’t notice anything!

Tarnia replied to emails so promptly and provided me with several solutions to any problems that arose because of our tight budget.

It is obvious that Tarnia really cares and enjoys what she does, we cannot recommend her enough. She is a true professional.
