An Inspirational Photo Shoot at Merriscourt – Mediterranean Romance

With its sun-drenched courtyard and stunning views, this beautiful Cotswold barn could have been made solely for this Mediterranean inspirational shoot. Rustic textures including terracotta, lace, crochet and wood worked perfectly alongside a vibrant palette of peachy orange and lavender tones. Mosaic patterned stationery and olives, biscotti and an Aperol Spritz bar were inspired touches.

This shoot is designed to show how to inject some colour into a scheme whilst retaining a romantic feel. The bouquet was created as an informal alternative to a more traditional teardrop bouquet and it’s such a relaxed look, using a variety of flowers alongside fragrant rosemary and eucalyptus.

The terracotta pots that lined the aisle were filled with delightfully scented lavender to make the most fragrant walkway and the lace and flower curtain was the perfect light backdrop for the ceremony.

The Mediterranean theme continued right through the shoot as the table arrangements, in more terracotta pots, were little pots of heavenly sunshine on the crisp white linen. This vibrant and romantic scheme would warm the greyest of days.
